Home Again

We didn't know if we would ever get to bring Scarlett home when we took her to the hospital 3 1/2 weeks ago.  We said goodbye to our house, and snuggled together before we left, promising we would do everything we could to get her back here again.

And now she is home!!!!!!!

 We only had to stop once on the 30 minute drive home to check that she was okay in her carseat.  She was so excited to come home that she had a huge stinky diaper the second we got to the door. :-)

We have to call tomorrow with lots of questions for a few different doctors, and we will go back for another MRI on Friday, and a shunt is still in the cards, but for now we are home and happy.

    im so excited for you! I bet it feels nice to just be home with the 3 of you! she will do so much better in her home. hospitals are no fun and make hard for being comfy! cuddler her lots for me! and ps i can't wait till she wears her heat legs i sent her! <3

    Amazing! Praise the Lord! My husband and I prayed so hard for her and you guys. I needed to hear good baby news and Scarlett's story has restored my faith in miracles. Enjoy your night as a family at home!

    Happy Homecoming!! I know you are so thankful to be home again. I know your lives are still on a rollar coaster, but it seems that the roller coaster is a gentle one THANK GOD~ I too needed to hear this news and am THANKFUL that God has worked miracles with this beautiful baby girl and within your family.

    I know that you've had tons of comments and probably can't possibly read them all but I wanted to let you know that I've been checking in from the day I found out about you daily to check on your sweet butterfly. She's a miracle! I'm filled with joy at the thought of your little peanut at home. I will keep you in my prayers always that recovery continues to go so well. We had our 15 month check up with the Pediatrician yesterday and we were stuck waiting quite a long time because the Dr got tied up with a patient. All I could think about was your story and my heart sat there heavy hoping that someone wasn't getting unexpected news. It made the wait seem so short and insignificant with a little perspective like that. God Bless you all!
