Surgery #10

Scarlett's tenth surgery has begun. It took a while for the surgeons, anesthesiologist and everyone else to get organized, but we handed her off at 8:10am. That never gets easier; she was sleepy, and just wanted to snuggle with daddy. We are camped out in the cafeteria with our laptop and books. It's going to be a very long day.

Prayers being lifted up as I type for all of you. Praying all goes well. God has this covered just like he has had his hand on Scarlet since birth. Please keep us posted!

I'll be thinking of you guys today. Scarlett is the strongest little girl I know, and I'm sure she'll go through this procedure with flying colors. Keep us posted when you can.

I hope you can somehow feel the support and prayers of everyone thinking of you, Chris and Scarlett today. I can't imagine the strength it must take to hand her over to the surgeon's and let them walk away with her. Just think, by tomorrow at this time, it'll all be over.

Thinking of you, pretty baby. You are so strong! You'll come through this better than ever. Hugs to mama and daddy too. Waiting is the hardest part. <3 <3

Praying for Scarlett, both of you, and the team of Doctors working on her. God as an amazing plan for that sweet baby girl!

You are all in my thoughts today.
I am very concerned about the shunt part where you have to wait for signs that it is too much. It takes a very caring and strong mommy to do so much for her little girl.
Be brave, Be strong, Keep fighting.
Love you all,
Christina and Kaitlyn

Thinking of your family today. Although I can't even fathom what you have been through I have had to hand 2 of my 3 kids off for surgery. It's not a good feeling.
