Released

The shunt is healing well...so well, that we were sent home today!  She had another quick MRI to check that the fluid was back to normal (or whatever normal is for her) and she hasn't needed Morphine all day, so she was cleared to go home.

Chris has tomorrow off, so we will be resting and hopefully staying in bed late!

I am so happy that Scarlett is doing well! I think of your family so much and give my husband updates when he gets home from work. We are cheering for her from Kansas.

I love reading all of your posts and getting all of her positive updates! :D

My son was in the hospital for 10 weeks after he was born and is about Scarlett's age - he's 7 months. Reading this and seeing your pictures really bring it all back. It is so amazing what our modern medicine can do and how amazing these miracle babies are!

YAY that is awesome news to hear, Brandi!! I hope you are all able to get some much deserved rest and relaxation...i know you both really need and deserve it!! Just remember that a setback is only a setup for a comeback!! Precious Scarlett is definitely the "comeback kid" She fights and pushes through everything that is thrown her way. She amazes me!! You both amaze me too! I feel deep within my soul that everything's gonna be alright in due time! Hang in there, ok? Sending lots of prayers and Hugs your way. xoxo ~ LeAnn, Mike, Michaela & Landon
