Scarlett's Week in Pictures

Scarlett has had a very eventful week.

Before coming to the hospital, we had a photo shoot with our friend Krista of Krista Lucas Photography.

This is her scarlet butterfly ornament we found on Christmas Eve.

This is the last smile she has given us; she's not in the mood.  We are so grateful to have this picture.  I hope to see another one soon.

In the hospital, she has learned to hold her bottle a little.
This morning, they marked her head with tags that will act as GPS as they operate.

Then, they brought in the EEG with camera observation to watch her brain activity and behavior in case of seizures.  it made our tiny room even more cramped.

They added all the EEG censors to her head, and wrapped it mummy-style to keep her from grabbing the wires.  It is quite the head accessory.
You can also see the new blankie and teddy that the radiology department.

She looks so peaceful, and she is.  She hasn't been fussy much at all, and that is so comforting to us.

God bless you, mama. God bless your family. I'm praying for a miracle in your little one's life. Keep up the fight! You are so strong, whether you believe it or not. And when you don't feel it, lean on Jesus. He's there with you EVERY step of the way. Trust in Him. Many thoughts, prayers, and much love from Arizona. Give Scarlett our love!

Your daughter is so beautiful. My daughter was born October 21, we learned of your story the day of her 2 month checkup. It just as easily could have been our Roxie instead of your Scarlett. My family is wearing red today and praying for you, your family, Scarlett, and her surgeons. Be strong and know that so many people are thinking of you.

I have been following your story for a little while now, and I pray for you all often. I pray that God gives you strength, peace and comfort. But, most of all, I pray that He heals Scarlett. There are no words to express to you how sorry I am for you and your beautiful family. But there is one person whom is the greatest physician and a mircle maker. He died on the cross so we may have health, life and abundance joy. There is no way that the Lord wants this for all of you...he is all about LOVE. He will see you through this...just trust him and keep your eys on him. Pray and the way will open. God cares and His plans unfold. Just love and wait. Love is the Key. Hope on...Hope gladly...Hope with certainty. Be calm, calm is His Power. I will keep your beautiful family in my prayers...daily. May God Bless You All. Denise
